Day 1 Arrive in Whitehorse & Southern Lakes Resort
Arrive in Whitehorse and transfer to Southern Lakes Resort, approximately one hour south through spectacular Yukon scenery. Settle into your private cabin before enjoying dinner overlooking frozen Tagish Lake. As darkness falls, begin your first evening searching for the Northern Lights.
Day 2 Winter Wilderness & Aurora Viewing
Enjoy a leisurely morning before choosing from optional winter activities including snowshoeing, dogsledding or snowmobiling. Wander the surrounding forest trails or simply relax by the fire before another evening beneath the Arctic sky awaiting the aurora.
Day 3 Explore the Yukon
Spend another day embracing the beauty of the Yukon. Photograph frozen lakes, enjoy the peaceful surroundings or join additional outdoor adventures. The resort’s secluded location provides exceptional opportunities for wildlife spotting and winter landscapes before another evening of aurora viewing.
Day 4 Relax & Experience the Northern Lights
Today is yours to enjoy at your own pace. Warm up beside the fireplace, savour seasonal local cuisine or venture outdoors to explore more of the surrounding wilderness. As darkness returns, prepare for your final full evening beneath one of Canada’s finest Northern Lights locations.
Day 5 Return to Whitehorse
After breakfast, transfer back to Whitehorse Airport for your onward journey or extend your stay to experience more of the Yukon during winter.
